Qatar’s Ministry of Interior has come up with new safety requirements for bikes used for delivery services in the country. The new guidelines will come into effect from November 15. Bike-riding delivery boys must follow all safety rules. They must have a license to drive a motorbike. Passengers other than the driver are not allowed to travel in such vehicles.
The new instructions are that the bike should be registered in the name of the employer, the permit number should be displayed on the bikes, and side jacks should be attached to the bike to ensure the balance of the vehicle.
The combined length of the bike and the box should not exceed 3 meters, the edges of the boxes should be fitted with phosphor reflectors, and the order box should be securely attached to the vehicle. They should be mounted in a way that can withstand shaking and shaking, the maximum allowed length of the box is 120 cm and the width is 60 cm.
