The leaders of the countries of the Quadripartite Security Dialogue (QUAD, includes the United States, Australia, India and Japan) have agreed to cooperate in the field of cybersecurity. The countries will create a special group that will develop software and common standards in this area, as well as strengthen the digital infrastructure.
The creation of a group of experts was agreed at a meeting of the QUAD leaders in Washington on the eve of September 24. Group members will be required to meet regularly until exact dates are given.
“Leadership (groups. – “B”) will meet regularly … to coordinate work, including the adoption and implementation of common cyber standards, the development of secure software, the recruitment of manpower and talent, and the promotion of cybersecurity, a secure and reliable digital infrastructure, “the White House said in a press release.
