Greece continued to bite and Thansis was honored with a great Ally Op, when after 10 particularly attacking minutes Germany held the advantage 27:31.
Yanis opened the second quarter with a common layup with Klaaths, but Lou scored another German three-pointer on the other side and led to 29:36, two minutes into the second quarter. On the other side, Kalathes and Rantsakis scored after successful penetrations, and six minutes to the end of the half the scoreboard showed 37:40 for Germany.
