Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi started the 2nd day of his India Unity Walk from Agastheeswaram in Kanyakumari district and concluded at Nagercoil. At Kottaram, Congress workers gave him a rousing welcome with traditional Tamil dances including Yolatam and Mayilatam.
Addressing students at a private school in Suchindra in the afternoon, Rahul Gandhi said he should not be afraid of failure. Success can only be achieved by fighting against failure. So be prepared to face failure. Only then can you succeed in life. He advised them to learn to respect women.
After completing the second day’s walk at Nagercoil, Rahul Gandhi will stay at Scott Christian College for the night.
