Mumbai: Rajasthan Royals have retained captain Sanju Samson in their squad for the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Royals retained the captain for Rs 14 crore. The Royals have retained England’s Jose Butler for Rs 10 crore and Jaiswal for Rs 4 crore. Sanju Samson was the captain of Rajasthan last season.
The team finished seventh under Sanju’s captaincy. He scored 484 runs in 14 games at an average of 40.33. Sanju was the sixth highest run scorer in the tournament. It was consistent performance that prompted the Royals to retain the player.
