Puskas Award 2021, FIFA unveils the 11 candidates for the best goal of the year. The award ceremony will be held during the Best FIFA Footbal Awards
The FIFA officially announced the 11 candidates to win the Puskas Award 2021, the award dedicated to the famous Hungarian striker of the 1950s-60s and awarded to the author / author of the best goal of the year. The criteria for choosing the winner are obviously the beauty of the athletic gesture but also no distinction in terms of gender, nationality and championship and fair play. The assignment of the Puskas Ward 2021 as has been the case for five years now, it will be held during the ceremony of the Best FIFA Football Awards.
Puskas Award 2021, the 11 nominated players
This year there are no candidates for the Puskas Award but there are two old acquaintances of the A league. We talk about Patrik Schick ed Erik Lamela, both with a past in the Roma, and of Valentino Lazaro, formerly Inter Milan and today on loan to Benfica.

The first player to win the Puskas Award has been Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009. Last year the prize was instead awarded to Son Heung-Min of the Tottenham. The players with the most nominations are instead Messi (7), Neymar (5 and a win) e Ibrahimovic (4 and a win).
