ShowA miraculous sight is now going viral on social media, as if the glass statue of a child placed in a case has come to life. A transparent butterfly with no color on the wings or body. They are known as glasswing butterflies.
With their mirror-like wings and body, they are mostly found in the central and northern regions of South America. A six-second video of the rare mirror butterfly has been shared. Mirrored moths are not very colorful because they are colourless.
They can carry objects weighing up to forty times their body weight. Mirror butterflies are migratory. The transparency of the wings also makes them easy to hide from enemies. And they can travel up to 19 km per day at a speed of 13 km per hour.
