According to the auction house, the natural pearl weighs 2485.73 chau / 181 pcs, while the attached diamond weighs approximately 5.70 / 37 pcs. Treasured rare natural pearls range in size from 5.25 mm to 15.60 mm in diameter.
In addition to natural pearls, Burmese gems, Zambian emeralds and high quality diamond jewelry were also put up for online auction. Apart from this another elegant pearl necklace was sold at AstaGuru auction house for Rs 1.48 crore. Weighing in at 619.50 chau / 448 pcs, the jewelry features five rows of elegant natural pearls. It also has Arts Deco terminals set in gold with diamonds (along with diamond and diamond grip).
