Really strong! Mac mini M2 Pro benchmark scores almost 20% ahead of M1 Max

Apple officially unveiled its M2 Pro and M2 Max chips, along with new MacBook Pro 14″ and 16″ MacBook Pro and new Mac mini models. Pro is out now. Revealing even more power than the M1 Max chip!

The Geekbench results of the Mac mini M2 Pro chip (CPU 12-Core) come out at

  • Single-Core = 1952 points
  • Multi-Core = 15013 points

Which, compared to the original M1 Pro chip that scored Single-Core 1734, the score is 12.57% higher and the Multi-Core 10076 score is up to 49%!

But it’s not just stronger than the original M1 Pro, with the top chip of the previous model like the M1 Max, the M2 Pro chip still scores quite a distance. Compared to the old score, the M1 Max scored Single-Core 1727, the new version scores 13.03% higher and the Multi-Core 12643 scores 18.75% higher.

It’s called a very interesting upgrade, higher performance as really discussed, this is just the test results of the M2 Pro, only the M2 Max will definitely be higher!

As for the Mac mini test results, the normal M2 chip is also released. The score is similar to the MacBook Air M2 released last year.
