The film is inspired by the novel of the same name by Martin Amis. It tells the story of a Nazi commander and his family who live an idyllic life next to the Auschwitz concentration camp during World War II.
The film The Zone of Interest includes the soundtrack by Mica Levi and, according to those who have already seen it, alludes to theThe atrocities experienced in the Auschwitz extermination camp without showing them directly.
After the premiere of The Zone of Interest at the Cannes Film Festival, it garnered rave reviews and became one of the favorite films to win the Oscars.
