CONCEPCIÓN, March 21, 2024 – The Festival REC unveiled its 2026 guest lineup this Thursday, boasting Scottish band Travis and the iconic Argentine singer-songwriter León Gieco as headliners.
A diverse Roster Takes Shape
The festival’s lineup, still evolving with one Anglo act yet to be confirmed, spans genres and nationalities, promising a vibrant musical experience.
Joining Travis and Gieco are Uruguayan acts The quartet of Nos, Gondwana, de Saloon, and Los Tetas, alongside Claudio Valenzuela, Katteyes, Supernova, Tronic, Kudai, and Niebla Niebla. The festival continues to expand its offerings with additions like Titae 4 Funk, Nico Ruiz, Holocaust, exotic Animals desamparados, El Em3, Martín Acertijo, Flor de Guayaba, Lali de la Hoz, Teorema, Claudia Arriagada & Arriagada System, Anomie, Ala Vorágine, Diagonal, Acuario, Mr Pilz, Chung Hwa, Bodenos, La Faculty of Funk, Soulburner, Nektar Machine, chimalguen, Mr Funky, Tu Temple, Benjamín Candia, Pasaje Boltta, Fernando Raín, Jaimoufo, and Red Bull Batalla.
Family-Friendly Fun
REC isn’t just for adults. The festival will also feature dedicated children’s and family shows, including performances by Los Frutantes, Go Go Gallo Pipe, Los Machinga, and School of Rock.
The 2026 REC poster was officially revealed at the offices of the Biobío Regional Government, with Governor Sergio Giacaman and representatives from Develop Biobío and Sono, the event’s organizers, in attendance.
