It is agreed to resume recruitment from Indonesia in various occupations from the date of signing the agreement. Undersecretary for International Affairs Dr. Adnan Al Naeem, Technical Department of the Ministry, representatives of Foreign Affairs and Health Ministries participated.

The signing of the agreement took place during discussions between the two countries to discuss issues and activities of common interest in the labor market. The new agreement is part of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development’s intensive efforts to unify the processes for recruiting Indonesian domestic workers, facilitate the recruitment process and protect the rights of all parties to the agreement. Indonesia is one of the main countries that send domestic workers to Saudi Arabia.
