Alia Bhatt and Rekha were present to receive the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Award. Alia Bhatt won the Best Actress award for her performance in ‘Gangubhai Kathiyawadi’ while Rekha won the award for her unique contribution to Indian cinema. Sony Television shared a video of Rekha receiving the award and speaking on social media. “I dedicate the award to the future legends of our country and Alia is the beginning,” Rekha said. Alia Bhatt also pretended to fall with her hand on her head. Alia Bhatt’s response indicated that Rekha’s appreciation was a great honor for her.
Alia Bhatt’s latest film is ‘Brahmastra’. ‘Brahmastra’ starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor is directed by Ayan Mukerji. The screenplay is written by Hussain Dalal and director Ayan Mukerji. The film received not bad response from the theatres.
Alia Bhatt played the lead role of Isha in the film. ‘Brahmastra’ was released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages. The cinematography of the film was done by Pankaj Kumar. Amitabh Bachchan played an important role in the film. SS Rajamouli introduced ‘Brahmastra’ in South Indian languages including Malayalam. The first part of the film, which is divided into two parts, was titled ‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva’. Brahmastra was said to be a mesmerizing theatrical spectacle.
