Baruch Dayan the Truth: Today in Jerusalem, Rabbi Sharaga Peish Spitzer, the late and important Hasidic and Belza and owner of the famous Spitzer Furniture store, who passed away at the age of 90, was accompanied to his Purim funeral.
The deceased was born in Austria on 27 Chesvan 1337 to his father Rabbi Shlomo Spitzer, the late.
From his youth, the Torah was part of his life, all his days he did his Torah regularly and his work was valid, being an old man and sitting in a yeshiva, he had the privilege of huddling in the company of Marnan, the owner of the ‘Chazon Ish’, the Rebbe Rabbi Aharon of Belza, the Gerish Elishiv, and the owner of the ‘Shebat HaLevi’ Hagar” S. Wazner ztzel and drank their words with thirst.
He founded the famous furniture store ‘Spitzer Furniture’ first on Jaffa Street in Jerusalem which currently serves thousands of customers in the ultra-Orthodox sector in branches throughout the country.
The deceased distributed his wealth to charity and repaid kindness with his body, his money and his home, invested in the education of his children and saw a blessing in his labor.
He won and left behind him a blessed generation of righteous men, sons and daughters, son-in-laws and descendants, one of his sons was his son Yavlkhta Rabbi Eliezer Spitzer of the Shibak of the Rebbe of Darag.
His funeral took place today (Sunday, Purim Defarzim) in the morning from the large Beit Midrash Dachasidi Belza in Kirya in Jerusalem through his home on Grosberg St. in Block 80 and the Beit Midrash ‘Shebat Halevi’ on Oheli Yosef St. to Hare Hamonuchot where he will be buried.
May his soul be bundled in the bundle of life.
