The last generation of climate activists want to avoid road blockades in the future. Renovate Switzerland, however, is sticking to this. The strategy has proven successful.

They polarize like no other activist group: the climate activists. Now the members of the Last Generation, who want to use civil disobedience to force the government to adhere to the 1.5 degree target, are changing their strategy: on Monday evening the German group announcedthat she wanted to protest in a different form – although the number of protesters has increased a hundredfold since the first road blockade around two years ago.
