Report: The Mossad recruits Iranian scientists to sabotage a nuclear facility

by time news

The Mossad has recruited a team of Iranian nuclear scientists to carry out a covert operation to blow up one of Iran’s secure nuclear facilities, the British-published Jewish Time.news reported today (Thursday).

The institute reportedly approached about ten scientists who agreed to demolish the A1000 underground centrifuge hall at the Natanz nuclear facility in April, while they believed they were working for international groups.

Some of the explosives used were smuggled into the compound by a drone and secretly collected by scientists, while other materials were smuggled into a facility inside food boxes in a catering truck. The devastation that followed the explosion caused chaos at the highest levels of the Iranian leadership.

It destroyed 90 percent of the centrifuges at the nuclear plant, delayed progress toward a nuclear bomb and put the key compound out of action for about nine months.
