Media reports revealed the secret behind the visit of the legend Ronaldo Nazario, the former Brazilian national team star, to the Saudi Al Hilal headquarters.
Al Hilal’s official account on the “X” social media platform published pictures of the meeting between Ronaldo and Fahd bin Nafel, president of the Blue Club.
Brazilian journalist Samuel Venancio stated, through his account on the “X” social media platform, that Ronaldo spoke with Ben Nafel about the future of Matheus Pereira, the Al Hilal player loaned to Brazilian Cruzeiro.
Al Hilal loaned Pereira, 27 years old, to Cruzeiro during the last summer transfer period, for one season.
Ronaldo is the owner of Cruzeiro, one of the first division clubs in Brazil, and he came with Gabriel Lima, the club’s CEO, to permanently include Pereira after the end of the loan period, according to the Brazilian journalist.
The journalist added that Ronaldo has been negotiating with Al Hilal for a long time regarding the player’s future, and he took advantage of his presence in Saudi Arabia to take another step in the negotiation.
Ronaldo attended the Al-Ahly and Zamalek match in the Egypt Cup final, which took place at the “Awal Park” Stadium in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
