Jassi Rideaux Explains Cropping Stacey Rusch From Wedding Photos, Details Cast Drama

The latest installment of The Real Housewives of Potomac continues to deliver drama, with star Jassi Rideaux addressing the controversy surrounding cropped wedding photos and detailing ongoing tensions with several cast members.

Jassi Rideaux, who married NFL player Darius Harris in june 2025, recently sat down with No Chaser TV to address fan speculation about why Stacey Rusch appeared to be excluded from some photos shared from her wedding. The decision, Rideaux explained, stemmed from a desire to surround herself with authenticity. “Did I? I think that the repost coudl have just been a situation where I didn’t want anybody fake in my photo. So, I just did what any normal person would do,” she stated.

Wedding Photo Controversy and Underlying Tensions with Stacey Rusch

The initial uproar began when fans noticed Stacey Rusch was missing from certain images posted from the event, alongside fellow castmates Wendy osefo and Ashley darby. Rideaux’s comments suggest a deeper issue with Rusch, hinting at a perceived lack of genuineness. When asked if there was an upcoming conflict with Rusch, Rideaux alluded to a growing sense of unease. “If there are any upcoming issues, not necessarily any issues. Just the mask starting to slip,” she said.

Further fueling the speculation, Rideaux referenced comments made by Gizelle Bryant, who previously claimed that Rusch was hesitant to attend the wedding until her return to the show was confirmed. Rideaux emphasized the importance of having “genuine people around me with my family. With people who watched me grow up. With people who genuinely love me” on her special day.

Confrontation with Tia Glover Over Nevis Resort Joke

The interview also delved into a heated exchange between Rideaux and fellow cast member Tia Glover. The conflict arose from a joke Glover made weeks before the wedding, suggesting Rideaux had a connection with someone working at the resort in Nevis. Rideaux firmly defended her decision to confront Glover, stating, “No, I definitely don’t regret it. I absolutely stand beside it how I felt at the table as at the end of the day, I literally had a very calm conversation with Tia when that happened.”

Rideaux explained that she sought to establish boundaries with Glover, who was new to the group. “It was very amiable. It was very ‘let me draw a boundary’ because I know that you don’t know me yet. Let me let you know where I am in my relationship,” she shared. She also expressed concern that Glover didn’t consider how other cast members might interpret the joke, perhaps leading to further drama. Rideaux feared a costar might “bring up something that’s just not true” based on the initial comment.

According to Rideaux, Glover later discussed the situation with the rest of the group, prompting Rideaux to “snap” when the topic resurfaced at dinner. She accused Glover of intentionally stirring up trouble for the sake of creating a “big argument” for the show.

Issues with Keiarna Stewart and a Desire for Authenticity

Rideaux also addressed her ongoing issues with Keiarna stewart, describing Stewart’s behavior as attention-seeking. “K was trying to do the most. She was just trying to do the most and see what stuck,” Rideaux stated. however, she clarified that the situation had already been resolved. “K and I had already hashed that situation out,” she added, bluntly assessing Stewart’s attempts to create a moment as unsuccessful: “You’re weird and trying to have a moment and [it] didn’t land like she wanted it to.”

Ultimately, Rideaux’s interview paints a picture of a star persistent to protect her peace and surround herself with genuine connections, even amidst the manufactured drama of reality television. The Real Housewives of Potomac airs on Sunday nights, promising more revelations and confrontations in the weeks to come.
