Rishabh Shetty said, ‘We have started shooting for ‘Kantara One’. Its shooting is still going on. I would like to tell the audience to trust only the information given by our production house. When people come to theatres, they should have a good experience. Nowadays, more people get to see and hear about films in the news than about the big screen. It would be better if we don’t spoil it and save it for the screen.

Talking about ‘Kantara: Chapter One’, according to reports, its budget is said to be Rs 125 crore. It will be bigger and more dangerous than ‘Kantara’. The budget of ‘Kantara’ was Rs 16 crore, and it collected up to Rs 400 crore at the box office. For the first schedule of the prequel i.e. ‘Kantara – Chapter One’, a grand set of about 200×200 was built in the coastal area of Kundapura in Karnataka. The film shooting will be done in this area.
