Roberto Leal’s mother talks about the salary her son pays him for ‘Casafantasmas’

With extraordinary complicity, Roberto Leal and Mercedes Guillén went to ‘El Hormiguero’ to present ‘Casafantasmas’, a program in which mystery is mixed with a sense of humor. “There is a real mystery because the testimonies are real, but there is also real laughter,” explained the one from ‘Pasapalabra’ who on this occasion shares the spotlight in front of the cameras with his mother. “My son convinces me of everything,” she stated to argue why she accepted the audiovisual challenge.

One of the cases they study in ‘Casafantasmas’ is the famous room 712 of the Parador de Cardona. «There is a legend that a princess was punished by her father because she wanted to go with a Muslim prince. They locked her in a tower and she died there. And that room is close to what was the tower,” Leal said. That room is not usually occupied because, apparently, strange phenomena occur there. «What’s happening, I don’t know if it has to do with that ghost, but there are powerful energies. “I’m quite skeptical and you don’t sleep comfortably in that room,” said the presenter. Her mother added: “She left me alone for a moment and the lights went off and on.” She experienced more paranormal events. «When we turned off the cameras, he took a sleeping pill and I didn’t. And at dawn, I was covered and I felt like they were pulling the sheets off me,” she discovered.
