Rodolfo Laganà celebrates 40 years since his cinematographic debut: it was 1983 when he made his debut on the big screen with a film by Lina Wertmuller and one by Sergio Corbucci, respectively ‘Prank of Destiny lurking around the corner like a street brigand’ (with Ugo Tognazzi protagonist) and ‘Sing Sing’ (with Adriano Celentano).
Today Laganà is 65 years old, has a disabling disease (multiple sclerosis) which forces him into a wheelchair, but a great desire to take back the stage. This time the challenge is musical: a new album released on November 12th on Apple Music, Spotify and all other digital platforms with the production of Marco Rinalduzzi and the distribution of Altafonte. Nine songs included in the album «Nun se joke co’ l’amor».
An album created with the aim of somehow playing down the chaotic (and, at times, unbearable) reality of today, in the name of that irony and sympathy that have always characterized the career of the Roman actor born from Gigi Proietti’s school. In the song that gives the album its title there is also a choir of friends with well-known names: Massimo Ghini, Massimo Wertmuller, Giampiero Ingrassia, Gege’ Telesforo, Stefano Palatresi, Carlotta and Sagitta Proietti, Laganà ’s son Filippo, Paola Tiziana Cruciani, Federica Di Stefano, Sandra Collodel, Cristiana Laura Andreani, Serena Caporale, Maurizio Pepe, Alessandro Filindeu and Stefano Reali.
There is also room for complaint. «Carozzella romano’» is a song against architectural barriers and the lack of respect towards those who move every day in wheelchairs.
