Borisov: Roscosmos is considering the possibility of creating two Luna-27 spacecraft
The head of Roscosmos, Yuri Borisov, said that the state corporation is considering the RAS proposal to create two Luna-27 spacecraft. He said this on the air of “Russia-24”
“The Academy of Sciences came up with a proposal to make two satellites – Luna-27a and Luna-27b – for reliability and to ensure the guaranteed completion of this mission,” he said.
According to him, the deadline is 2028. According to plans, the orbital Luna-26 will determine the landing site for the vehicles; work on it is in full swing. The launch is planned for 2027.
