Roskomnadzor is checking information about a possible leak of personal data in the Artek camp. About it informs TASS with reference to the press service of the department.
“Roskomnadzor is checking information about a possible leak of personal data at the Artek International Children’s Center,” the report says.
Roskomnadzor noted that the personal data operator had already informed the agency about the incident. Under current law, the company must do so within 24 hours of the leak.
On July 5, the Telegram channel “Information Leaks” announced the appearance of data of children and parents in the public domain. The resource claimed that the files contain information from the Artek database. According to the channel, the leaked email addresses are valid.
The first leaked file contains 747,820 lines containing the names of children and parents, dates of birth, email addresses, telephone numbers, SNILS, passport and birth certificate numbers, etc. The second file contains 755,828 entries, in particular, names and email addresses.
