Rospotrebnadzor asked not to inject Botox along with the coronavirus vaccine

by time news

Rospotrebnadzor gave advice to Russians on getting vaccinated against COVID-19 regarding the compatibility of vaccines with other chemicals.

According to the ministry, experts do not recommend combining vaccination with Epivaccorona, one of the three domestic drugs registered in the Russian Federation, with cosmetic procedures in which botulinum toxin is used. The interval between the second dose of the vaccine and subsequent injections of Botox should be at least one month.

Rospotrebnadzor explained that after Epivakkorona, on the 42nd day after the second vaccination, a “tense immune response” is formed. At the same time, in 1-5% of cases of botulinum toxin use, antibodies can be produced in patients.

“(Therefore) it is necessary to separate these procedures,” the message says.
