The 29th Inter-District JKUT Billiards & Snooker Championship 2025-26 is showcasing emerging talent from across Jammu & Kashmir, with recent matches at the MA Stadium Billiards Hall delivering thrilling competition. Organized by the Jammu & Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association (JKBSA) in collaboration with the J&K Sports Council, the tournament continued on December 25th with both Round 3 and pre-quarterfinal clashes.
Round 3 Upsets and Close Contests
The third round of play saw a series of determined performances. Ishan Choudhary secured a 2-1 victory over Rinku, overcoming an initial setback with scores of 14-58, 61-29, and 52-05. Arjun Singh also battled to a 2-1 win against Tariq Murtza, with a final scoreline of 60-61, 53-27, and 42-28.
Other notable Round 3 results included Manav Pathania‘s 2-1 triumph over Wassim Raja (37-64, 52-38, 52-36), and Aman Sharma‘s clean sweep against Ishan Singh (50-29, 60-45).
