In a statement issued by Bajaj,
Work has already begun on setting up an electric vehicle manufacturing plant at the Bajaj Auto manufacturing plant in Agurdi.
The first phase of the plant, which will cover about 5 lakh square feet, will employ 800 people.
The plant will be set up with the capacity to manufacture 5 lakh vehicles per annum for domestic and export. In addition, the first product will be released to the market by June 2022. ”
