Here is Romain Ntamack again, four months after the end of the left knee injury which deprived him of the World Cup. On Tuesday, the Toulouse opener published a video on his networks showing him resuming the race.

On said video, Ntamack goes through a few runs at moderate intensity, under the guidance of a physical trainer from the Toulouse club.

The number 10 of the Blues ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee on August 12 against Scotland (30-27) during a preparation match for the World Cup. He was forced to withdraw from the World Cup two days later.

Ntamack had undergone surgery on August 30, then began his rehabilitation in various locations, between Haute-Garonne, Pyrénées-Orientales and Landes. He returned to racing, initially on carpet last week, and returned to the field on Tuesday.

“I never set a date but seeing how things are going, I think I will be ready at the end of March-beginning of April,” said the opener last week. Doctors say that as you approach eight months after surgery, there is no risk of relapse. »

The international (37 caps) will in all likelihood miss the next VI Nations Tournament, from March 2 to 16, but could be operational for the end of the season with Toulouse. With the France team, Ntamack could participate in the summer tour to Argentina, which includes two matches on July 6 and 13. If Ntamack was not selected, his big return with the Blues could take place in November during the test matches against Japan, New Zealand and Argentina.
