The value of the Indian rupee against the US dollar has fallen to an all-time low.
The Indian rupee has been depreciating against the dollar for the past week.
In this case, the value of the rupee, which was 81.90 yesterday, fell by 32 paise to 82.22 at the start of stock market trading this morning.
At 11.30 am, the rupee fell another 16 paise to 82.38.
It is worth noting that on September 30, the value of rupee was 79.87 against the US dollar.
The appreciation of the US dollar in the foreign market, freezing of domestic stocks and crude oil prices are seen as the reasons for the decline in the Indian rupee.
