Mumbai: Economists have said that the value of the Indian rupee against the US dollar may touch 85 in the next year.
In recent times, the Indian rupee has been depreciating against the US dollar. Russia’s war on Ukraine, rising crude oil prices and supply disruptions have put the rupee under severe pressure. On October 19, the value of the rupee fell to an all-time low of 83 rupees against the dollar.
In this case, various economists who participated in the banking and economic meeting held by SBI said that the rupee will have to face more pressure next year; They also said that the value of the rupee against the dollar will be 82-85. They also said that the current account deficit may increase to 4 percent of the GDP in the current financial year.
