Salman Khan’s brother-in-law Ayush Sharma’s film ‘Ruslaan’ has failed at the box office on the very first day. This film has not been able to do any wonders at the already sluggish ticket windows. The situation is so bad that on the first day of film shows on Friday, on an average 96 out of 100 seats were seen vacant. On the other hand, Akash Pratap Singh starrer ‘Main Ladega’ has been a hit on the opening day. It would not be wrong to say that both the films have fallen victim to Lok Sabha elections 2024, increasing heat and IPL tournament. For the last one month, the Indian box office is going through its worst phase. Whereas earlier films used to earn bumper on big occasions like Eid, this time films like ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’ and ‘Maidan’ flopped badly. Along with ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ released last week, ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2’ has already proved to be a disaster. While shows are being canceled in many theaters due to lack of audience, many single screen theaters have also been closed till the elections are over.

‘Ruslaan’ earned only Rs 60 lakh on the first day

According to the report of sacnilk, the action-thriller ‘Ruslaan’, directed by Karan Lalit Butani, has collected a net collection of only Rs 60 lakh on the first day on Friday. This film starring Ayush Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, Ms. Shreya Mishra was promoted with great enthusiasm. But this has had no impact on the recession prevailing in theatres.

Ayush Sharma’s three consecutive films flopped

The budget of ‘Ruslaan’ is said to be Rs 25 crore. But as things stand, this film does not seem to earn more than Rs 5-7 crore in its lifetime. This is the third film of Ayush Sharma’s career. While his debut film ‘Loveyatri’ was a flop, despite Salman Khan’s cameo, ‘Antim: The Final Truth’, released in 2021, was also below average. Now this is the third consecutive flop film of Ayush’s career as ‘Ruslaan’. Obviously, they will have to move very carefully to survive in the future.

‘Main Ladega’ earned Rs 4 lakh on opening day

On the other hand, ‘Main Ladega’, directed by Gaurav Rana, could not earn even Rs 5 lakh at the box office on the first day. This film has made a net collection of Rs 4 lakh on the opening day on Friday. The story and performance of the actor of this Akash Pratap Singh starrer film is being praised. But it is clear that it does not seem to have any impact on earnings.
