Russia has attacked Ukraine‘s Zaporozhye region 425 times over the past 24 hours, with Moscow’s forces targeting 11 settlements in the region, Ukrinform reported, citing information from the head of the Zaporozhye regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov.
“Russian servicemen carried out eight airstrikes on Zaporizhia, Tavriysk, Yurkivka, Hulyapole, Mala Tokmachka and Robotine,” said Fedorov’s post on the Telegram app.
Two women, aged 55 and 22 respectively, and an 11-year-old girl were injured in an attack in the city of Zaporizhia. At the time of the impact, they were in their home, which was destroyed, BTA reports.
Russian forces attacked with 205 drones and fired 198 artillery shells, the information added. At least 30 residential buildings were destroyed in the Zaporozhye region in the past 24 hours, Ukrinform also informed.
A number of powerful explosions were heard in the city of Zaporizhia that night, Fedorov explained. The Ukrainian Air Force has issued a warning about the danger of a Russian attack with ballistic missiles.
