The UN Human Rights Council says 3,153 civilians have been killed and more than a thousand injured in attacks by Russian forces in Ukraine.
Most were killed in Russia’s missile and airstrikes, the commission said in a statement. The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights said the death toll had been released and that the death toll from the attack could be higher.
