Meanwhile, Russia on Friday vetoed a draft resolution of the UN Security Council condemning the Ukrainian occupation. The resolution condemned Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and called for the immediate withdrawal of Russian troops.

Meanwhile, countries such as China, India and the UAE abstained. The remaining 11 councilors voted in favor. The draft resolution is expected to be considered by the 193-member UN General Assembly.

He said the groups demanding the defense were mainly volunteer battalions comprising “right-wing Ukrainian nationalists.” However, he did not present any evidence to support his arguments.
