Russian hockey player was included in the Chinese team at the 2022 Olympics

Chinese hockey club “Kunlun Red Star” unveiled compound Chinese team for the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games. As follows from the announcement, 34-year-old Russian athlete Denis Osipov will play defense.

Osipov currently plays for Kunlun Red Star and has played 25 games this season in the KHL. Earlier in his career, he played for the Russian Admiral, Yugra, Avtomobilist, Metallurg (Magnitogorsk) and Lokomotiv, as well as Dynamo Minsk.

In the early 2000s, Osipov was a member of the Russian Borna team, in the 2005 Junior World Cup with the team he took fifth place without scoring points.
