The state corporation “Roscosmos” plans to send the only Russian woman-cosmonaut Anna Kikina into space on the American spacecraft Crew Dragon, reports “RIA Novosti” with reference to the general director of “Roscosmos” Dmitry Rogozin.

“We assume that our cosmonaut Kikina will make her maiden flight in 2022, and we think she will make it on the Crew Dragon,” he said at a press conference.

According to the head of the state corporation, the corresponding decision has already been made at Roscosmos. He noted that the American astronaut, in turn, will fly on the Russian spacecraft.

The reusable manned spacecraft Crew Dragon was developed by the American company SpaceX to deliver a crew of seven to the International Space Station and return to Earth.
