On average, 28 people lost their lives each year while driving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) between 2009 and 2019 across the province. The government wants to reduce this record and was sending a message to this effect with the launch of Operation Impact in ATVs, Saturday morning in Saint-Alphonse-de-Granby.
“Under these circumstances, I have the dream of having a zero balance vision. I know that cannot be, but we can certainly improve it, ”declared the Minister of Transport and Member of Parliament for Granby, François Bonnardel, at the outset at a press conference called at the entrance of the ATV trail that connects Granby and Cowansville.
