Maccabi Haifa fans received very happy news this morning (Thursday). Abdulai Sak, the champion’s intended acquisition stopper, landed in Israel ahead of the upcoming signing in Carmel. The Greens will have to register him on the roster by tomorrow and are of course expected to do so, as the brakeman is expected to sign for two years.

The 30-year-old Senegalese joins Dylan in Tobinsika, another stopper who already signed yesterday in the ranks of the greens, when both of them together will make up for the lack of Bogdan Palanich who left the team.

As a reminder, yesterday the Supreme Court of the Football Association approved the registration of Ali Muhammad as an Israeli player, which allowed Maccabi Haifa to bring Sek as a foreigner. The Northerners will have to complete the entire process by tomorrow to register the Senegalese for the Champions, where they will begin their journey on Tuesday against Benfica Lisbon away.
