Today, Friday, the Civil Status Directorate in Salah al-Din announced the opening of national ID and passport departments in the Samarra and al-Dur districts.

The Director of Civil Status, Passports and Residence in Salah al-Din, Brigadier General Ammar Ismail Khalil, told the (INA): “Under the auspices of the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir al-Shammari, and under the direct supervision of the Director General of Nationality, the Directorate of Civil Status, Passports and Residence in Salah al-Din opened a new department for the national card.” In Al-Dur district, it is equipped with all the requirements after it was not qualified.”
He added, “The Civil Status Directorate will open the Samarra Passport Office after 10 days, after it was a paper office that operated with readable passports,” indicating that “the Directorate will work to issue the electronic passport within an hour for citizens.”
He continued, “The directorate has other projects, including the Samarra Civil Affairs Department project, which will be completed after three months, by moving to a new, qualified building equipped with all the requirements,” noting that “there are other projects in the future, including the central registration project to issue the national card for citizens whose lives are located outside the governorate.” “.
