jpnn.comJAKARTA – PAN DPP Chairman Saleh Partonan Daulay responded positively to the meeting of the Indonesian Presidential Candidate elected in the 2024 Presidential Election Prabowo Subianto with the General Chair of the National Awakening Party (PKB) DPP Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin.
However, Saleh said that the visit could not immediately mean that PKB had definitely joined Prabowo’s government coalition.
According to him, Prabowo’s arrival at PKB headquarters showed a humble attitude.
“Even though they won, Prabowo and all his supporters were asked not to be complacent. However, Prabowo’s visit should not immediately be interpreted as meaning that PKB has definitely joined,” said Saleh, Thursday (25/4).
Saleh said that PKB and its coalition are carrying a narrative of change in contrast to Prabowo who wants to continue the program in the government of President Joko Widodo or Jokowi.
“Simply put, Prabowo is carrying the theme of continuing Jokowi’s programs. Meanwhile, PKB and its coalition want to make changes,” he continued.
The chairman of the PAN faction in the DPR also touched on the PKB coalition in 2024 which is building a narrative of change that Jokowi has failed to build prosperity for the people.
“That, isn’t it, is the opposite. It seems that PKB will have difficulty turning around and turning around,” he explained.
