An unannounced Samsung phone, identified by model number SM-A776B, was recently detected in Geekbench’s database. Geekbench, a widely recognized CPU performance benchmarking tool, provides key insights into a device’s capabilities during testing.Based on Samsung’s established naming conventions, the device is widely anticipated to be marketed as the Galaxy A77 if it reaches the consumer market.
Under the Hood: Exynos Chip and Next-Gen Specs
The benchmark data reveals the Galaxy A77 is likely to be powered by a cutting-edge Exynos chip (S5E9865) developed by Samsung’s System LSI division. This processor features a unique 10-core configuration, comprising six high-performance cores and four power-efficient cores. Moreover, the chip integrates the AMD RDNA-based xclipse 940 GPU, promising enhanced graphics performance.
The device is also equipped with 8GB of RAM and runs Android 16 with One UI 8.x. detailed CPU core specifications include:
