García assured that in larger agreements between countries, external issues that have nothing to do with commercial exchange must sometimes be taken into account, while if treaties are formalized between Mexican and American states, everything would be focused on economic development.

The president of Nuevo León highlighted that nearshoring will further strengthen commercial ties with Texas due to the new companies that will settle in the entity.

He highlighted that Nuevo León concentrates up to 76 percent of the benefit that the relocation of companies will bring to Mexico in the coming years.

García highlighted the corridor from the metropolitan area to the border with Laredo, Texas, the quick and safe transportation crossing from Colombia to the Texan city. In addition, he said that Nuevo León occupies first place in the national ranking in job creation.
