Eleven members of the police were injured during riots in the Rietschule in Bern on the night of Saturday to Sunday. Police were attacked with stones, bottles, fireworks and lasers.
In a press release issued on Sunday afternoon, Bernese police spoke of a targeted attack against intervention forces. Three injured officers had to be taken to hospital. It is not known if there are any other injuries. Many police and private vehicles were damaged.

At midnight the police received information that some people wanted to set fire to the containers. On the spot, police found people setting up barricades at many places on the road.
Police were attacked and responded with rubber bullets, water cannons and incendiary gas. When peace returned they retreated. Police have launched an appeal for witnesses.
