Satankulam Father-Son Murder Case: Sensational Testimony in Madurai Court

by time news

The father-son murder case in Satankulam has taken a shocking turn as the Kovilpatti Judicial Magistrate gave sensational testimony in the Madurai court. The case involves the deaths of Jayaraj and his son Bennix, who were taken to the police station for questioning on the grounds of violating curfew regulations during the Corona period. The CBI has arrested 9 individuals, including police officers, in connection with the incident.

The CBI filed a 2427-page charge sheet in the court against the 9 individuals. More than 60 people have been investigated in this case so far. During the hearing, Kovilpatti Judicial Department Arbitrator Bharathidasan testified that both father and son were not killed in the police station but were instead assaulted by prison guards in the Kovilpatti branch jail.

However, the arrested sub-inspector, Balakrishnan, cross-examined the arbitrator, claiming that both father and son were assaulted at the Satankulam police station and not in the jail. The arbitrator denied these claims, stating that both individuals were severely assaulted at the police station. The judge adjourned the hearing following this testimony, leaving the case open to further investigation and deliberation.
