Since revealing a new look, singer Priscilla has been facing a wave of reactions, especially from evangelical circles, with many people lamenting the current state of the young woman who once belonged to the gospel world.
Singer Dayane Damasceno, for example, recorded a video to comment on Priscilla’s condition, which in her opinion is one of “decadence” and would aim to remain in the media spotlight.
Citing the passage from Matthew 12:43-45, Damasceno says that the former gospel singer is having her life distorted by Satan, who is acting to keep Priscilla distant from God. The biblical text talks about how evil spirits act in empty homes.
Damasceno also criticized Priscilla’s alignment with the LGBT+ agenda, something that can be seen in a response she wrote to a follower. Asked if she really supports the movement, she replied:
“I am very grateful to have always had the presence of the community [LGBT+] on my journey, always with exchanges that add a lot to me and in the same way I want to give back. Happy that today there are no traces or ties of a religious fundamentalism that rejects diversity. Today I find myself free to be, to think and act!”

When commenting on the matter, pastor Yago Martins said he believes that Priscilla’s current behavior only reflects something that already existed, being the result of a distorted type of Christianity.
“It was all there. The young gospel that has already normalized the culture’s uncompromising type of Christianity”, wrote the pastor on social media.
Dayane Damasceno, in turn, lamented the condition of the former Alcântara, explaining that although she continues to say that she is an evangelical Christian, she is no longer a person who represents genuine biblical values.
The search for glory, says Damasceno, results in “self-destruction”. “This girl goes deeper into sin every day. It is yet another result of this weak, fraudulent theology, based only on love, where there is no confrontation, where there is no repentance.” Watch:
