Saudi Covid Report: 80 new Kovids in Saudi

Riyadh: Covid (19) has confirmed 80 new additions in Saudi Arabia. Of the current patients, 92 have recovered. The Saudi Ministry of Health said Kovid had two deaths within 24 hours. The total number of cases reported so far in the country has reached 550,622. The total number of cases is 539,885. That brings the total death toll to 8,860. Today, a total of 32,250,028 Kovid PCRs were tested in the country.

The country’s covid liberation rate remains at 98 percent and the death rate at 1.6 percent. Out of a total of 1,877 people affected, 31 are in critical condition. They are in the intensive care unit of various hospitals across the country. The condition of the rest is satisfactory. So far 48,285,022 doses of the vaccine have been injected across the country. Of these, 24,843,596 were the first dose. 22,891,349 per second dose. 1,728,423 doses were given to the elderly. The booster dose was given to 550,077 people. Number of newly reported patients in different parts of the country: Riyadh 31, Jeddah 14, Makkah 10, Dammam 4, Madinah 3, Hufuf 3, Tabuk 2 and 13 other places.

Omikron has confirmed four cases in Qatar

Doha: The Ministry of Public Health has confirmed the new variant of Kovid, Omicron, for four people in Qatar. Omikron was found among citizens and residents returning to Qatar after a trip abroad.

The Ministry of Public Health said that three out of four people who were confirmed by Omicron had taken two doses of the vaccine and six months after receiving the second dose. A fourth person has not been vaccinated. All four are subject to special quarantine conditions. The ministry said no one had been admitted to the hospital.
The quarantine will continue until they recover and become negative.
