The device, which can monitor the condition of the driver and his car and transmit the information received to the dispatcher online, has been registered by the Russian patent office. The device is mounted on the dashboard and from there “looks after” the vehicle, the road, and those who are driving.

As it became known to MK, the product is a small metal box in which there are calculator boards, a radio module, an uninterruptible power supply, an acceleration sensor and a satellite positioning module (GLONASS or GPS). On the front cover are infrared LEDs, indicator LEDs, touch buttons, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth antennas, as well as an infrared camera. On the back cover there are connectors for connecting external GSM and GPS antennas, and for cables connecting the device with the electronic control units of the car.

The three-axis acceleration sensor, which accurately determines the position of the car in space, allows the device to record cases of careless driving, collision with obstacles at high speed, draw conclusions about sudden braking, lane changes and other events, the characteristics of which can be included in the calculator program. When a dangerous driving style is detected, the system sends a warning to the dispatch center indicating when and where the driver messed up. Analysis of the readings of car sensors allows you to warn in advance about technical problems, from a drop in the voltage of the on-board network to an analysis of fuel consumption indicators, a drop in engine power.

At the same time, the device vigilantly monitors the driver: recognizing his face, it records the beginning of the work shift and breaks in work (exits from the cab). The information is transmitted to the dispatch center for keeping records of working hours. The system informs about deviations in the mode of work and rest: lateness, overtime, etc. With the help of GLONASS or GPS, the device monitors that the driver does not deviate from the course. The device also monitors the condition of the eyes, facial expressions and the direction of the driver’s gaze. Noticing a loss of vigilance during movement (for example, when the gaze is directed to the side or the eyes are closed), it emits an audible and vibrating signal. At the same time, information about the incident is transmitted to the dispatch center. According to the developers, their invention surpasses all analogs in its functionality.
