Patna: Today there is a possibility of heat wave in 18 districts of Bihar. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert regarding this. According to the Meteorological Department, the nights will remain hot due to increase in temperature in Patna, Muzaffarpur and Sheikhpura. North-westerly winds have been blowing continuously in the entire state including the capital for the last few days. According to the Meteorological Department, today the maximum temperature in the districts of North Bihar will increase by 1 to 3 degrees Celsius. However, no significant change is expected in the temperature in South Bihar.

Bihar’s minimum temperature is 31.2 degrees Celsius

According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature of the state reached 31.2 degrees Celsius on Sunday. Due to this, people are not getting relief even at night. The extreme heat during the day and night has troubled people. Some relief from the heat is available only after four in the morning. There was bright sunshine since Sunday morning. Due to the scorching heat of the sun, hot winds started blowing from eight in the morning. There is a possibility of heat wave at isolated places in Patna, Aurangabad, Darbhanga, Sheikhpura, Khagaria, Supaul, Nawada, Banka, Purnia, Muzaffarpur, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Jamui, Bhojpur, Nalanda, Siwan, Arwal and Bhagalpur districts.

Maximum temperature increased in 28 cities

According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature has increased in 28 cities and the minimum temperature has increased in 21 cities. Apart from this, the maximum temperature has decreased in three cities and the minimum temperature has decreased in 10 cities. The Meteorological Department has said that there was severe heat in Bhagalpur on Sunday. Khagaria, Sheikhpura, Banka and Nawada also remained in the grip of heat wave. The maximum temperature of Patna increased by 0.1 degree Celsius, while the minimum temperature recorded a decline of 0.9 degree Celsius. The minimum temperature in Patna was recorded at 28.7 and the maximum temperature was 41.5 degrees Celsius. Sheikhpura was the hottest district in the state, where the temperature reached 43.2 degrees Celsius.
