Screen Review – Rocketry: The Numbi Effect | Movie Review

by time news

Nambi Narayanan, who wants to work in ‘NASA’, joins ‘ISRO’ at the request of his Guru Vikram Sarabhai.

Realizing that liquid fuel is the future of space and finding an engine for it, he can’t afford to spend much on a cryogenic engine, so he makes a deal to buy it from the Soviet Union at a low price.

In this case, he is jailed on charges of treason for selling space exploration secrets to Pakistan.

The story is about how he recovered from it through a legal battle and the sufferings and humiliations his family also suffered. The film begins with Nambi Narayanan telling the story of his life through an interview with actor Surya.

At Princeton University in America, pointing out the mistake in the book to the professor, finishing the research while working as an ‘Indian husband’ in the scientist’s house, who is surprised by NASA, and the adventure of bringing engine parts to the Soviet Union, Nambi’s youthful episode is fine, but the secondary insults are treasonous shame, third-class torture by the police, and personal insults. Half becomes sad.

The success of his work is that we cannot see Madhavan in these scenes, but instead see Narayana. Simran, who is intimidating no matter what role she is given, is disturbing as Madhavan’s wife. Since the story takes place in different periods, people like Abdul Kalam also appear here and there.

Ravi Raghavendra as Vikram Sarabai, Abdullah Khan as Kalam, Jagan and Sam Mohan as fellow scientists, Mohan Ram as ISRO chief, Misha as Geeta have all become their respective Ghatabad Thirs. Surya, who is interviewing Nambi, says, “You told me that I am innocent.

There should not be one person who is guilty, but who is he?” There was no answer to his question. At the end Surya kneels before him as the conscience of the people.

Sam C.S. The background music takes us hand in hand with the story. Cinematography by Sirisha Roy, who does not go beyond the norm, is the strength of the film. The first half can’t help but feel like a physics class as it rambles on about rocket technology.

If Narayanan had fought and won on the conviction of sedition in detail and forcefully, the speed of this rocket would have increased even more.
