Sean Penn gave his Oscar to the President of Ukraine

Kyiv: Hollywood star Sean Penn presented his Oscar to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The exchange took place in the capital of the country, Kiev.

The world knows about this through a video posted by Zelensky on his Telegram channel. The video also shows Zelensky awarding Ukraine’s Order of Merit to Sean Penn.

Anton Gerashenko, an adviser to Ukraine’s interior minister, also shared a video of the Zelenskyi-Sean Penn meeting. Gerashenko tweeted that Shawn gave his Oscar to Ukraine and was honored.
