DIG/ A delegation from the Heling company, led by its President and Representative of the Bouygues Group, Olivier Bouygues, had a working session, on Thursday, December 14, 2023, with the Minister of Mines, Hervé-Patrick Opiangha.

The meeting consisted of discussing with the Minister of Mines the launch of a mining project which will consist of developing, identifying and understanding the resources contained in mineralized sand and deposited on the sea coasts and rivers of our country.

Research permits allowing the operationalization of the said project have already been allocated to them.

The metals sought by Heling will have to play a major role in the ecological transition, said Olivier Bouygues. His company expects to find a significant quantity of it on Gabonese soil for this purpose.

The first part of the project will consist of making an inventory of available minerals, in collaboration with the Ministry of Mines, then examining the benefit to be derived from them.

All the results will be made available to the Gabonese State, which will allow it to quantify the resources available in the areas to be exploited.

You must know that The Heling Company specializes in renewable energies.

It is on its first project in our country and has obtained three exploration permits to do so. She is mainly interested in sedimentary placers resulting from the natural erosion of mountains and which create sedimentary deposits. This project will be the first of its kind that the company will carry out in our country.
